As we slowly emerge from a global pandemic that is “Covid 19” we find ourselves immersed in an altogether new landscape. The Pandemic has left its mark in some shape on every one of us. The repercussions of such will be felt for many years to come, no one truly knows the extent of the scar it will leave behind, but one thing for sure is that we are all changed because of it.
A global reset button has been pressed and the time of reflection, self-evaluation and contemplation is slowly coming to pass new patterns of behaviours are starting to emerge, with particular emphasis on how we live now.
Our homes are now the focal point of this new energy, they are now more important than ever as a significant number of workers will now be working from home on a more permanent basis. This has introduced a new work/life balance, we have also seen an increase in buyers looking for coastal properties and increasing number of expats returning home for a better quality of life. This coupled with the huge amount of money saved by would be purchasers during 2020/2021 will make for a lively market once restrictions have been lifted and it is safe. I feel there will be an even further renewed interest in property and I expect this new renewed interest in property will be seen in all sectors of the market with particular emphasis on residential.
We at Colbert & Co have continued to push boundaries in respect of how we work. We are innovative in our approach and always like to be ahead of the game, but as with any award winning business, we have our client’s best interests at heart.
We look forward to a new and exciting era in the property market.
